Futures is a skill to better understand the role that the future plays in what one sees and does. People can become more 'futures literate'. For more information about FL, click here.
Due to my interest in city planning and spatial development, I focused on 'The Future of Cities'.
The Personal Leadership Lab was a coaching lab. In a group of three students, I was coached on whatever I needed help with or wanted to talk about. This was a great way to reflect and learn from others, as well as gain perspective about things.
During the first lab, we talked about Ethical Dilemmas in a Technical World. The lab consisted of several lectures, a debate night, which had to be prepared in a group, and an individual assignment.
For the individual assignment, I did research about Self-Sufficiency Within The Home Environment. Here, I talked about the reasons, why one should live more self-sufficient and different ways to live self-sufficient.
I found the lab very interesting, I learned a lot and even made some friends. I am looking forward to the next honours lab!
